Do Xuan Doan (born 1937) was a student of lacquer painter Nguyen Gia Tri. In 1961, he graduated from the Lacquer Department of Vietnam University of Fine Arts. His lacquer paintings are attached to the image of nature and people of Hanoi in the 30-40s. Do Xuan Doan's work has a creative layout and a relaxed style.
